adequately maintained , yet some flaws observed
beautiful landscaping midday swims dirty glasses stained robe
the grounds display beautiful landscaping , which offers lovely views. i enjoyed the midday swims in the pool. fresh omelets were available at breakfast. the interior decor was subtle TOO.
upon entering my room , i found dirty glasses. a stained robe was also present. after i dropped my towel near the bed , i found a pretzel stuck to it.

Relaxing Stay with Beautiful Views
maintained grounds dyson fan comfortable bed modern touch
The grounds were well maintained and lovely to walk around. our room had a dyson fan and google chromecast which was a modern touch. i enjoyed fish and chips. I'd rate it highly. i found the bed very comfortable and slept well.
i found the room temperature a little cool though it was a very minor issue.

The spa was relaxing and a good place to unwind after breakfast. the grounds were well maintained. The landscaping looked manicured. there were walking opportunities around the lake for the guests.

the staff was attentive to needs, i saw many staff interact well with guests. reception staff quickly addressed a minor issue we raised. the check-in process was fast and efficient at the reception desk.

breakfast was delicious, i noted a good variety of options available. the bar had a nice atmosphere during the evening, with a good selection of drinks. i enjoyed the meals in the loughside grill restaurant.

The room had a fridge and a coffee pod machine. The bathroom featured a powerful shower and great mirrors! There was also an illuminated makeup mirror.
The room temperature was not very warm.

easy check-in beautiful room quick check-in
i was able to check in easily. i arrived and was greeted by staff. i was able to check in quickly. the room i stayed in for the night was beautiful too.
the breakfast buffet had a lot of cross contamination. the black pudding and the beans were beside each other and the tongs for the sausage were on the same plate as the tongs for the black pudding.

great staff breakfast sausage
The staff were great. i had a meal at the catalina restaurant. It was excellent. i met the head chef, and our chat was interesting (i do appreciate that!). breakfast had lots of choice with proper breakfast sausages.
The room was really hot and stuffy, and there was no air conditioning. i had a dyson tower fan, but it wasn't enough. the windows only opened one inch. It was uncomfortable.

I found the staff to be helpful and pleasant. i was greeted upon arrival and check-in was handled efficiently. the room i had featured a comfortable bed and was well kept. the setting proved serene. I saw birds throughout the hotel.
The bar service was slow. It took some time to place an order.
